काठमाडौं, संक्रमणकालीन न्याय सम्बन्धी विधेयक आगामी मंगलबार प्रतिनिधि सभामा पेस गरिने भएको छ।
प्रतिनिधि सभाको कानुन, न्याय, तथा मानव अधिकार समितिले सभामुख देवराज घिमिरेलाई आगामी बैठकमा विधेयक पेस गर्ने तयारी गर्न आग्रह गरेको छ। समितिका सभापति बिमला सुवेदीले शुक्रबार सभामुख घिमिरेलाई भेटेर यसका लागि पत्र बुझाइन्।
सिंहदरबारस्थित सभामुखको कार्यकक्षमा भएको भेटमा कानुन समितिका सदस्य र संसद् सचिवालयका अधिकारीहरू पनि उपस्थित थिए। सभामुख घिमिरेले पत्र प्राप्त भएपछि यसलाई महत्वपूर्ण काम मान्दै धन्यवाद दिए।
सभामुख घिमिरेले भने, “लामो समयदेखि संसदमा विचाराधीन रहेको विषयलाई समितिले सर्वसम्मत रूपमा टुंगो लगाएको छ। यो महत्वपूर्ण काम हो, त्यसका लागि तपाईंहरूलाई धन्यवाद।”
साल २५ फागुन २०६९ मा तत्कालीन प्रधानमन्त्री पुष्पकमल दाहाल प्रचण्डले ‘बेपत्ता पारिएका व्यक्तिको छानबिन, सत्य निरुपण तथा मेलमिलाप आयोग ऐन, २०७१’ लाई संशोधन गर्न बनेको विधेयक प्रतिनिधि सभामा दर्ता गरेका थिए। यो विधेयक गत बिहीबार कानुन, न्याय, तथा मानव अधिकार समितिबाट दफावार छलफलसहित सर्वसम्मत रूपमा पारित भएको थियो।

Kathmandu, The Bill on Transitional Justice will be submitted to the House of Representatives next Tuesday.
The Law, Justice, and Human Rights Committee of the House of Representatives has asked Speaker Devraj Ghimire to prepare to submit the bill in the next meeting. Committee Chairperson Bimala Subedi met Speaker Ghimire on Friday and submitted a letter for this.
Members of the Law Committee and officials of the Parliament Secretariat were also present in the meeting held at the Speaker’s office at Singha Durbar. After receiving the letter, Speaker Ghimire thanked him, considering it an important work.
Speaker Ghimire said, “The committee has unanimously resolved the matter pending in the Parliament for a long time. Thank you for this important work.
On February 25, 2069, the then Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda registered a bill in the House of Representatives to amend the ‘Disappeared Persons Investigation, Truth and Reconciliation Commission Act, 2071’. This bill was unanimously passed by the Law, Justice, and Human Rights Committee last Thursday, with quarterly discussion.
